Live At The 55bar (Signed CD) International Shipping (Outside USA)
Live at the 55bar was recorded over four shows on November 7th and 8th 2007.
The club, sadly long since closed, was one of the most important locations in the world for jazz and improvised music.
It was a long-term home for legends such as Mike Stern and Wayne Krantz, and would regularly feature some of the biggest names in jazz like Chris Potter, Brian Blade, Uri Cane, Adam Rogers, Nate Smith, Keith Karlock, Tim Lefebvre, and the list goes on.
I may well have played more shows there in my life than any other venue in the world. Close to 200 with Mike Stern alone, and then with my own band for three years straight before I moved to California. There were so many special moments both on and off the bandstand, and the fact I was afforded the opportunity by the owner Scott to record and release my second album as a leader there, is one of the most special chapters in my career as an artist.
